Spiritual Healing – 10 Minute Meditation

Living in the 21st Century, it is very easy for the body and the mind to become disconnected by the day-to-day grind of life, work and other commitments. This disconnection between the body and mind can lead to feelings of discomfort and unhappiness that stop us from being all we can be in our day.  In the short term this is an irritant, but in the long term this stress accumulates on our bodies and jeopardizes our health. For many this is a fact of life, but with a little daily intervention, we can all positively impact our health. The good news is that we can all implement spiritual healing to help us recover from the everyday stressors of life, and we can do so with relatively little time investment.

The most-simple way to implement spiritual healing into your routine is to meditate. For how long and how often is up to you, but at least 10 minutes a day can make a remarkable difference to your stress levels and increase your overall mental state and calmness. For those in pursuit of better mental and physical health, one of the most effective ways to align your body and mind is to meditate. By meditating and consciously relaxing, we can begin to shut off the white noise of everyday life and begin reconnecting with our intuitive state of wellbeing.

Practical Spiritual Healing – The  7/11 Method

Find yourself a comfortable place to sit or lie down, and begin to breathe in through your nose for 7 seconds, ensuring that your chest rises as you breathe in. After you’ve breathed in, begin to breathe out for 11 seconds making sure that your chest goes down. It is important that whilst you are breathing you concentrate simply on your breathing pattern and allow yourself to breathe out all the stressors of the day. The longer you follow this pattern, the more you will find yourself in a state of calm. This can be done for 10 minutes with good effects, but can be done for as long or as often as suits you.

It may sound simple, but a brief and proactive approach to your everyday spiritual healing, is one of the most effective routes to making your routine more fulfilling, and more productive. Next time you’ve had a stressful day at work, don’t stay stuck on that frequency, find yourself a quiet spot, start meditating and find your own frequency!
